Help Provide Thanksgiving Meals to Families in Need!

What began as a small gathering in my Rockford, Michigan garage in 2018 has grown into an annual tradition that brings the community together to support local families for Thanksgiving. In that first year, a few friends and I assembled 21 baskets full of Thanksgiving meal essentials. Now, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we distributed 144 baskets last year—and we’re still growing!

Our 7th Annual Hen’s Brunch invites friends, neighbors, and community members to come together to make this holiday season a little brighter for families in need. This year, we’re thrilled to partner with the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids to expand our reach and help even more families.

How You Can Get Involved

  1. Monetary Donations: Your donations will directly fund the purchase of grocery items to complete our Thanksgiving baskets. Every dollar goes toward providing families with the ingredients they need to enjoy a warm, festive meal. (You will receive a receipt for tax purposes from the YMCA of Grand Rapids for your monetary donation.)
  2. Food Donations: Non-perishable Thanksgiving essentials are welcome! We’ll arrange these items into beautiful baskets, each with a personal, handwritten note, spreading love and holiday cheer.
