April Petersen YMCA Naming Opportunity

April Petersen cared deeply for the Greenville community and never met a challenge she didn't embrace with creativity, determination, and her own "special sparkle." If someone told her that a goal couldn't be met, it motivated her to achieve it even more! To honor her legacy, her family and friends are doing just that. We have established the April Petersen YMCA Naming Opportunity Fund for the proposed YMCA in Greenville. Our ambitious goal is to raise $3 million to put her name on the building.

April’s vision aligns with the YMCA’s mission of promoting healthy, family-friendly activities and building stronger, healthier communities. Although April is no longer with us, her vision lives on through this initiative, benefiting her hometown and inspiring others.
