Summertime at camp is the most magical time of the year and a great opportunity to see our mission at work! Each summer, Camp Manitou-Lin welcomes over 1600 campers for a unique experience that gives them the opportunity to have their best summer ever, by meeting new friends, exploring nature, discovering new interests, be physically active and create memories that will last a lifetime!
We believe every child deserves a camp experience, and hopefully you do too. Every year YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin gives out financial assistance to give kids the camp experience who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend. Last year there were 268 summer campers who received financial assistance and 723 students were awarded outdoor education scholarships to attend camp with their schools.
Funds raised for our annual campaign help us provide MORE camp experiences to MORE children in the Grand Rapids area....and beyond! We have helped generations of youth grow into strong, confident community members.
