Fall Fest Supports YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin Special Needs Programs
$5,650 raised
$8,000 goal
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin will be hosting our annual Fall Festival Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2022. This event will provide support for our Special Needs Programs at YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin in Middleville, Michigan. Funds earned through this event will help us to fulfill Camp Manitou-Lin’s goal to never turn a child away due to an inability to pay. Now, more than ever, scholarships are needed for children to participate in our programs. In 2019, over 125 children with Special Needs were able to participate in our programs because of generous contributions from sponsors.
Our fall event will host a variety of family activities. Fall Festival in the past has drawn over 1000 participants. Some of the activities will include the climbing wall, archery, pony rides, a haunted barn, wagon rides, face painting, s’mores, arts & crafts and much more. Along with family fun activities, we will have raffle baskets inside our lodge as well as highlighting local school musical groups in a talent showcase. Trick or Treating will take on a unique twist at our Fall Festival! Cabin sponsors will have the opportunity to decorate their own cabin (we have over 20 cabins on the premises) and hand out candy to trick or treaters. The business and their logo would be prominently displayed the day of the event as well as any local publicity.
In the past, community participation in our camp fundraiser allowed us to change the lives of special needs individuals in our own community. Can we count on you this year? As always, any contribution you could make to this event would be greatly appreciated and is tax deductible. At YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin, we focus our attention, care, and encouragement on kids throughout West Michigan and they repay us through self discovery, confidence, and joy. This strengthens the very foundation of the communities we serve. Please help us to continue our good work.
